Franked "BARTON-ON-HUMBER 8:45pm SP 2 10" and stamped with a green Edward VII halfpenny stamp. Sent to Mrs A Grimmer at Market Place, Ampthill. "37 Queen's Avenue, Barton-on-Humber, Hull. Dear Madam, Mrs Field and children got home safe last Sunday night. Thanks for your kindness to them which awakened old memories of the past. When you can come this way, we shall be pleased to see you and your husband. Doll will be writing later on. Kind regards, H Field"
