(i) A headed bill from the Bedfordshire Hospital Trained Nurses' Institute of 23 Kimbolton Road, Bedford dated 6th August 1928 to Mrs Grimmer of 7 Church Street, Ampthill requesting £34 16s in respect of a stay at the nursing home from 10th July to 4th August 1928. (ii) A headed receipt from the Institute above, dated 10th August 1928 and signed by M Godson, Superintendent of the Institute, stamped with 2 x 1d George V stamps as stamp duty, in settlement of the bill described in (i). (iii) A headed bill from Dr W Gifford Nash of 1a De Parys Avenue and Dr G T Birks of 2 Harpur Place dated 22nd August 1928 to Mrs Grimmer of The Garage, Ampthill for services relating to a "consultation and operation" totalling £22 1s. Signed and receipted with a 2d George V stamp for stamp duty. A compliment slip with a personal note. Sent in an envelope addressed to Mrs Grimmer at 7 Church Street, Ampthill, with a 1 1/2d George V stamp, franked Bedford 17 Jan 1929.
