Parties:
(i) Robert Parker of Cardington, baker and Mary Howard, his wife (née Mary Howard Eastaff) ;
(ii) James Eastaff of Bedford, cooper;
(iii) William Eastaff of Bedford, carpenter
Reciting:
- Mary Howard Parker, (ii) and (iii) were legatees of the will of their father James Eastaff, carpenter, deceased of 14 June 1782, proved in Archdeaconry of Bedford on 5 October 1782;
- (i), (ii) and (iii) had agreed a partition of (a)-(c), each taking one third;
- (i), (ii) and (iii) appointed Thomas Lilburne of Cardington, gentleman, Richard Leach of Bedford, gentleman and Joseph Okely of Bedford, gentleman to make the partition
Operative Part:
- (i), (ii) and (iii) submitted (a)-(c) to Thomas Lilburne, Richard Leach and Joseph Okely for partition to be made by 1 June 1819
Property:
(a) messuage in Bedford, Saint Peter de Merton formerly in the occupation of Martin Semel, then James Eastaff deceased, now of (ii);
(b) messuage adjoining (a) erected since the death of James Eastaff and in occupation of (iii);
(c) close of ground adjoining (a)-(b) formerly in the occupation of Jonathan Baxter, then Richard Leach, now converted into a garden in occupation of Mrs Mowbray
(a)-(c) bounded: part N by highway from Saint Peter’s Green to Goldington; part N and E by property of Benjamin Trapp, devisees of late George Livius, esquire, Peregrine Nash, esquire and Doctor Thackeray; S by Luck’s Lane; part W by property of Joseph Okely; part W by six cottages belonging to (ii) and (iii)
