    a) Conditional surrender by Thomas Powers of Biggleswade, ironmonger, to trustees of Biggleswade Provident and Law Building Society (the Reverend Joseph Douton, clerk, William Hogg, Robert Lindsell and John Nathaniel Foster), 1846. Valuation of Samuel Conder of houses now being built, 6 May 1846. Other related papers (including Fire Insurance), 1846. b) Letters from T Powers wants any papers relating to 6 cottages, Potton Road, Biggleswade, "destroyed without further delay" supported by Edmund Powers 13 November 1876. c) Abstract of title of mortgagees. Mortgage of 7 February 1853 and transfer to new trustees of 23 May 1867. Property involved: a) Pieces of land containing 25 acres in Pidley cum Fenton, Huntingdonshire (two 12 acre lots) i) abutting east land of William Woods, west land of Edward Johnson ii) Abutting east land of Mrs Hempstead, west land of Thomas Annis (then in occupation of William Woods and Wakefield Woods) (devised by will of Susan Rugeley). iii) Freehold farms etc. of any in Pidley cum Fenton or elsewhere. b) Plot of land (part of a larger piece of land in Town Field, Biggleswade) (in depth north to south 163 feet and in breadth east to west 73 feet) (containing 1 rood 4 perches) (T Powers admitted 24 April 1846 on surrender of William Edwards alias Hall). And 6 messuages, cottages or tenements with barns, outbuildings, erected and built by T Powers, prepared 1881. d) Absolute surrender by mortgagees of Thomas Powers to Robert Wormsley of Biggleswade, carpenter, land as above 6 cottages in occupation of Widow Roberts, Edward Leonard, John Robarts, Samuel Brittain, Joshua Chambers and John Britain, 20 July 1881. e) Other relevant papers relating to sale of 1881 including Conder's bill for auction of 27 April 1881. f) First page of sale catalogue.
