    Parties: (i) John Baxter of Bedford, butcher; (ii) Charles Frederick Palgrave of Bedford, druggist and chemist; (iii) Richard Halfhead of Bedford, banker; (iv) Benjamin Trapp of Bedford, banker Reciting: - Z1542/2/1/1; - appointment by way of mortgage for £400 of 30 August 1843 between (1) John Baxter and (2) Charles Frederick Palgrave in which (1) appointed (a) and other property to the use of (2) subject to equity of redemption; - (ii) was content that the remaining mortgaged property was sufficient security Operative Part: - (iii) paid £330 to (i); - (iii) paid 10/- to (ii); - (ii), by direction of (i) released and (i) appointed (a) to (iii) Property [as shown on included plan]: (a) piece of land with buildings standing thereon partly in Bedford, Saint Paul and partly in Bedford, Saint Peter de Merton with a frontage to Harpur Street of 15 feet 9 inches bounded: N or NE by partly by ground sold by John Baxter to William Shouler Wilson and by him to Richard Halfhead and others and partly by ground of John Baxter; W or NW by Harpur Street; S or SW by ground of Louisa Hodgkins; E or SE by land of George Dilley Habendum: - to (iii) freed from mortgage debt; to the use of any deed of (iii); to the use of (iii) for life; to the use of (iv) during the life of (iii), in trust for (iii), to the use of (iii) for ever Covenant: - by (i) to produce scheduled deeds - Z1542/2/1/1 and mortgage with Charles Frederick Palgrave Witnesses: - Ezra Eagles of Bedford, solicitor; - V Wyatt, clerk to Ezra Eagles
