Edmund Turnor, Stoke, to Mr Mills, Boswell Court, near Lincoln's Inn Fields
Lady Rolt is now dead, who in her lifetime paid the "Halftax" for the writer's estate in Bedfordshire and his bailiff wants to know whether her heirs must continue to pay it. The writings are all with Mill, so will he please explain the case. "I am now upon selling it there being now no obstruction that I know of to hinder me". And he wants to know "what it was my Grand Father gave the Lady Rolt for the estate"
