Since I wrote from Wyoming I went to San Francisco and to Losangellis and Arizona and through New Mexico and on the Mexican Central to Old Mexico and down into Texas where I now am. I'll never be a rich man, but I carnt help helping a poor man. I am a hard-working man and I am liked wherever I go. I have been in Texas working a couple of weeks and am now working. I suppose you know Cleavland the Democrat is elected for U.S.A. President. I have not heard from you since I sent dear Mother the 50-dollar bill, tell me if you got that letter 12 months ago last July. Dear Mother and Father, brothers and sisters, send me a big letter. I want to tell you a little incident that hapened. I shiped on the boat from San Francisco to Losangeles; the second place we called at there was a telagram telling the purser and captain to stop Albert Culpin, as his father wanted him to be brought back to Frisco; they was sure I was the fellow, so they offered me cabin passage back; well, I thought it could not be you, so I did not go back; there is Culpins in Frisco, and a Albert too. Write to the post office, New Orleans, Louisana.
