Pictorial postcard with a picture by the artist Tom Browne of three Dutch women ice skating with the legend "Skating". Published by Davidson Bros, printed in England, series number 2533. Franked 'AMPTHILL 7:30pm SP 6 05' and stamped with a green halfpenny Edward VII stamp. Addressed to Eva May Swaffield at Church Street, Ampthill, Beds with the handwritten "Will this do for the winter season?" on the left hand side.
