'Eleanor's compliant is not one that is likely to be affected daily by the remedies applied to it, but.... I think she is a degree better....' Describes the treatment Eleanor is being given. Eleanor's education is at a standstill while she is ill. The writer's health has suffered due to worry about Eleanor.
