  • Scope and Content
Thanks writer for allowing use of house at Putney; it will enable the writer to keep Eleanor in the country and yet in reach of medical attendance. [daughter Eleanor Henrietta Robinson, died 1826] Writer hope to leave Town tomorrow for Tunbridge. 'Eleanor's compliant is not one that is likely to be affected daily by the remedies applied to it, but.... I think she is a degree better....' Describes the treatment Eleanor is being given. Eleanor's education is at a standstill while she is ill. The writer's health has suffered due to worry about Eleanor. Saw Frederick recently and thought him much improved and health and stoutness - in looks he is the very image of his father. [Frederick William Robinson, died 1831, son of Thomas Philip Robinson?]
