Writer and son have been sick during the last fortnight, but now convalescent, though both weak. 'I must not expect to be anything but an invalid but...I hope to be a little less weak than I am just now.' Mention of Dr. Charles and Dr. Shillito. Dr Shillito is an older and more experienced man; Dr Charles is not 30, and his partner only 25. Shillito is a pupil of Sir C Clarke, who speaks very favourably of him. Mention of a smell and the need to clean out the great reservoir, which has not been done for 30 years. With letter from G F S Robinson, thanking Aunt de Grey for 'the many nice things you have sent me.' Also thanks Miss Hatchwell for her letter.
