- Date free text20 Jul 1832
- Production dateFrom: 1832 To: 1832
- Scope and ContentArrived Thursday of last week, but does not think Ja-Ja or herself are better for so doing. Reference to the weather, which has not been good. Mention of Lady Lucas going to Wrest Park; the writer could accompany her in September. The writer is likely to be obliged to finish with Miss Ward shortly; she will be a great loss, but the Bishop and Mrs Ward have been very kind in parting with her for so long. [Bishop William Ward, Bishop of Sodor and Man from 1828 to 1838] Ja-Ja's like of soldiering continues - he has turned a summerhouse in the garde into barracks.
