- Scope and ContentHas been very busy 'the people are all anxious to see me and to tell me their various little wants.' The writer is improved with Dr Granville's plan (diet) and the good weather. Has taken Ja-Ja to church for the first time for the last three sundays, and he has behaved very well. Mention of Louisa Hobart, daughter of writer's uncle, Henry Lewis Hobart, Dean of Windsor. Louisa and the writer's son are great friends. If Lady Lucas is still at Lord Grantham's, the writer and family could come and visit for a week. The writer understands that Lady Lucas occupies the upstairs floor entirely; discusses in which rooms the family could sleep, and other arrangements.
