Arrived at Putney yesterday evening having stopped for lunch with Lord Verulam at Gorhambury House. Lady Lucas is kind to think so much of little Ja-Ja's amusement 'I think he will soon be able to amuse you with his prattle, for he begins now really to talk intelligibly..' We were very very sorry to leave Wrest.
