    Recites: Indenture dated 24 March 1851 between the then trustees of Jane Cart's Charity and Edward James Beale. Indenture 21 April 1862 between 1) John Howell and Ritbon Southall, 2) William Cory, John William Burmester and William Champion Jones and 3) William Maddocks. Indenture dated 1 January 1869 mortgage William Maddocks to James Green for £5,800. Now in consideration of £175 paid to James Green by the trustees of Jane Cart's Charity William Maddocks doth grant and confirm to the trustees - two undivided third parts or shares the whole into three equal parts to be divided and all that building or warehouse with the privy and appurtenances situate at the rear of the messuage occupied by Mr Scroggs in High Street, Dunstable, the lower portion of which building is in the occupation of John Birdsey, the upper part in the occupation of Mrs Gibbard. The said warehouse is one of the two described as in Watling Street in the indenture dated 1 January 1869. Schedule. Signed James Green, John Thos Green, William Maddocks.
