    i) Withers Cheyne of Hockliffe "in parish of Chalgrave", yeoman (eldest son and heir of Withers Cheyne, late of parish of Chalgrave, yeoman); ii) Moses Shank of Chellfield (county Kent), innholder and wife Sarah (late widow of said Withers Cheyne the father); iii) Robert Gillpin of Hockliffe, gentleman; iv) Christopher Perry of Hockliffe, innholder; v) George Goreing of Thorn in the parish of Houghton Regis, yeoman. [Recites 3 indentures tripartite of even date: A) between i) Withers Cheyne junior; ii) Moses Shank and wife Sarah; and iii) Robert Gillpin. B) between i) Withers Cheyne; ii) Moses Shank and wife Sarah; iii) Christopher Perry. C) between i) Wither Cheyne and Moses Shank and wife Sarah; ii) George Goreing; iii) Robert Gillpin and Christopher Perry] ... of an Inn called the "Whitehorse" in which Withers Cheyne dwells, in Hockliffe "in the parish of Chalgrave"; also a little piece of ground (part of the Home Close) "from the corner of the barne straight downe to the close called New Close containing in length five poles and in breadth three poles"; also a close of pasture called New Close (4 acres), being in the Field of Tebworth in Chalgrave; also 7¾ acres arable dispersed in the Fields of Tebworth; also a close of pasture called Martins Close (4 acres) lying in the parish of Hockliffe, between the Watling Street on North East, the ground of the heirs of John Marsh on West, that of John Hillersdon on South, and the common lane and ground of Thomas Keeble on North; (all lately conveyed by Withers Cheyne and Moses Shank and wife Sarah to Robert Gillpin). Also part of Parlour close in Hockliffe in Chalgrave, containing 2½ acres, "extending from the Crabb tree on the South West side...straight over to the East side of a little Ashtree there marked and from thence straight over to the close called New Close", bounded North by New Close, East, by ground of Edward Poulton, West, by remainder of Parlour Close, and South by the common street; (lately conveyed by Withers Cheyne etc. to Christopher Perry). Also 12¾ acres arable dispersed in the Fields of Wingfield in Chalgrave; (lately conveyed by Withers Cheyne etc. to George Goreing). and also a little cottage with the part of Parlour Close in which it stands, containing 3 acres, in Hockliffe. (To hold the first three properties to use of Robert Gillpin, Christopher Perry and George Goreing respectively for ever, and the last to use of Withers Cheyne for ever) witnessed: Thomas Strong, W Whitbread and John Ashwell
