Reference to the seal of 'John Johsua'. Mention of books. Lord and Lady jersey are arrived on Monday for one nght. They left early the next day for Lord Jersey to attend the opening of the House of Lords. Lady Sandwich leaves tomorrow as her newly married daughter returns to Town then. [Lady Catherine Caroline Montagu, who married Count Alexander Walewski, illegitimate son of Napoleón I Bonaparte]. Have had no new cases of Typhus, and the people who have it are getting better. 'We are very careful not to put ourselves in the way of infection - we only go to the healthy cottages.' Papa is employed looking over his Newby prints, which now number 28 portfolios.
