    Copy will of Rebecca Luke, daughter of Oliver Luke of Cople, Wood End, spinster: - bequeathing an annuity of 50 shillings, paid quarterly or half-yearly out of the rents of cottages in Cople, to her sister Katherine Luke for life above the sum left her in R6/14/13/8; - devising all her cottages in Cople, following the death of Katherine Luke, to her nephew William Stewart remainder, if he died before Katherine Luke, to his sister, the testator’s niece, Mary Wright; - bequeathing £20 to her sister Judith Papworth; - bequeathing her watch, silver candlestick and some of her books “which she shall choose” to her sister Mary Stewart; - bequeathing £10 to her nephew William Stewart; - bequeathing £5 to the poor of Cople; - bequeathing 10/- to every servant that had lived a year in the house in which she died “and to the Boy 5s”; - devising and bequeathing the residue of her estate to Mary Wright; - desiring Mary Wright and William Stewart to bury her “as decently private as they can” in Cople church; - appointing William Stewart and Mary Wright executor and executrix; - witnesses: Martha Papworth, Mary Papworth and Elizabeth Harris Codicil of 19 June 1729 - revoking the annuity to Katherine Luke; - witnessed by Martha Papworth, Mary Papworth and Anne Lawrence Proved in Hitchin in the Archdeaconry of Huntingdon on 30 July 1729 by Mary Wright, William Stewart being dead
