    Copy will of Jane Luke, daughter of Sir Samuel Luke of Cople Wood End, deceased “being in perfect health but of great age”; - devising all real estate in Higher or Lower Culverdons, Tunbridge [Kent] to her nephew Nicholas Luke; - bequeathing £300 to Nicholas Luke; - bequeathing £20 for mourning to “Brother and Sister Blackerby”; - bequeathing £10 for mourning to her sister Luke, widow; - bequeathing £50 to her niece Susanna Luke; - bequeathing £20 to her nephew Papworth; - bequeathing her biggest pearl necklace to her niece Papworth; - bequeathing £10 to Mrs Martha Papworth; - bequeathing £20 mourning to her niece Elizabeth Barber, widow and her daughter Roberta; - bequeathing £50 her niece Katherine Luke; - bequeathing an annuity of £5 per annum to Katherine Luke; - devising all cottages in Cople except that in occupation of John Russell to Roberta Luke; - bequeathing the cottage in Cople in occupation of Roberta Luke to to her servant Mary Brace for her life, remainder to Roberta Luke; - devising her farm at Cardington to her niece Mary Stewart, widow; - bequeathing £50 to her Godson William Stewart; - bequeathing her two silver salvers marked ES to Mrs Elizabeth Stewart; - bequeathing £100 to Mrs Mary Stewart junior; - bequeathing £20 each to Mrs Jane and Mrs Susanna Stewart; - bequeathing £10 to the poor of Cople; - bequeathing £30 and wearing apparel to Mary Brace; - devising and bequeathing the residue of her estate to her niece Rebecca Luke who was to bury her at Cople and giving every servant 10/- with the family where she died, a gown to the minister; - appointing Rebecca Luke sole executrix; - witnesses: Lucy Nicholls, Anne Parker and John Holloway - proved in PCC 22 December 1710
