Opinion requested on the following matters: 1. Whether the churchwardens of Leighton Buzzard can recover the arrears of rates due from the chapel wardens of the respective hamlets, payments having been refused. 2. If the churchwardens do not produce accounts at the next Visitation (6 Sep 1827), what proceedings can be taken to compel them to do so, or what would be the consequences of their default? 3. What steps can be taken to institute annual accounting in future?
