Reciting lease and release of 25 and 26 May 1818 a) John Croft, gentleman and wife Elizabeth b) Daniel Chapman c) said Daniel Chapman, Joseph Margetts Pierson, gentleman, Henry Crabbe, gentleman d) said Willder Daniel e) Joseph Daniel, gentleman and also a fine levied in Easter term in the same year by which below mentioned land stood limited to certain uses and in meantime to use of d) or e) his trustee NOW in consideration of £260 paid to i) by ii) i) releases to ii) - piece of land on site of which several cottages formerly stood, in Shortmead Street, Biggleswade, which it fronts on W. and formerly in occupations of William Carter, John Mole, John Sheffield, Thomas Chamberlain, widow Tingey and William Pepper, afterwards of John Mold, John Sheffield, Richard Currie and now of William Daniel - 3 cottages lately built on said land and now in occupations of Joseph Huckle, Joseph Mintle and James Wells to hold unto ii) for ever to uses as he should appoint or to iii) in trust for ii) signature of i) Endorsed receipt Witnesses: Edward Sandon, Thomas Gill, solicitor, Biggleswade
