(Recites Robert Earl Granville by Will of 13 December 1771 gave to George William, Earl of Coventry and Thomas, Lord Viscount Weymouth, inter alia, all honours, manors, and land, advowsons and rectories (except those rectories and advowsons of Kilkhampton and Week St Marys) and other estates in Bedfordshire, Cornwall, Essex, Lincolnshire, Surrey, Middlesex, on trust with consent of Henry Frederick Lord Carteret (then Henry Frederick Thynne), his nephew to sell (except Mansion House of Hawnes) to defray cost of sale and discharge of debts on lands bequeathed (incurred by his grandmother Grace, Countess Granville, or his father, John Earl Granville) funeral expenses, legacies, and for settling unsold estate. To use of nephew Henry Frederick Thynne for life subject to certain annuities mentioned in Will, and his heirs. Recital of Codicil to above Will - see recitals of SA195. Recital of Deed of 19 November 1795 - see recitals of SA201 - also deed of 16 July 1799 - ibid. Recital of Will of Isabella Pitt of 27 December 1805 - remainder of her personal estate to Eliza Crawley then deceased. Executors E Crawley and ii). Isabella Pitt died July 1808. Oliver Farrer died 18 August 1808. Recital of SA201. Recital of Declaration and Appointment of 28 August 1801 between v), vi), Lord John Thynne, Heneage Earl of Aylesford and vii) ... manors etc. in deed of 1795 subject to perpetual annuity of £300 paid to --- Hyde, esquire (then deceased) and several mortgages charged by John Earl Granville and Robert Earl Granville not paid. Manors charged by another deed of 19 November 1795 with contingent £800 annuity by v) and vi) secured by 1,000 years term. This never took effect. Lands etc. also charged with sums of £3,000, £3,000, £1,200, £5,000. vi) and Lord John Thynne both married since Bargain and Sale (enrolled) of 1795; v) and vi) desirous that manors and estate should be settled after death of v) and that Bedfordshire estate should be indemnified against mortgages, except annuity of £300 specifically charged on Bedford estate. Latter limited to use of vi) for life and heirs male with remainder to Lord John Thynne and heirs male. Other manors subject to mortgages to use of Heneage Earl of Aylesford and vii) for 3,000 years after death of Henry Lord Carteret and failure of heirs in trust to discharge mortgages. Recital of Mortgage etc. of 28 June 1809 between v), vi), Heneage Earl of Aylesford and Lord Charles Henry Somerset, Edward Marjoribanks, esquire and Thomas Atkinson £6,000 lent by Aylesford and Somerset to v) and vi). v) with consent of vi) to Aylesford and Somerset ... all manors etc. except those in Bedfordshire for 600 years term. Recital of Conveyance (Lease and Release) of 18 and 19 October 1811 between a) George Earl of Coventry, eldest son and heir of George William, late Earl of Coventry, deceased (who survived Thomas Marquis of Bath [Thomas Lord Viscount Weymouth] his co-trustee of Will of Robert Earl Granville); b) = v); c) + vi); d) Thomas Farrer and William Loxham Farrer [reciting inter alia sale of part of Robert Earl Granville's devised estate in Hawnes and purchase of other property there from sale. Sale of parts of estate for expenses, debts and legacies. Deed Poll of 27 June 1809 - annuity of £800 (see above) was annihilated. By Lease and Release of 24, 25 May 1811 Hundred of Mainsborough and manors in Hampshire exonerated from last recited mortgage in order to be sold. Marquis of Bath died in lifetime of George William Earl of Coventry who died in September 1809 - without making settlement of devised estates or testamentary disposition of the Trust estates]
