    Typed reminiscences of the bakery/grocers shop set up by the author's father, Guildford Cyril Moss, on Honey Hill Road and later run by the author. Much of the manuscript deals with the establishment, growth and operation of the family business but there are also references to: - the development of the Queens Park area and later of Honey Hill Gardens (by Robert Jeakings) - G. C. Moss's childhood in Biggleswade and time working for Fred Lee, the village baker, with his friend Hubert Bennett - the author's mother, Elsie Gale - the war years and the bombing of Honey Hill Road - Christmas celebrations - specific customers (including the Wilsons, Fosters, Smiths, Roses and Walfords) - the author's training as a baker - family life and Red Cross work - decline and closure of the business in 1992 Includes hand drawn plans of the site and the interior of the shop with copies of photographs: - front of shop window display, c.1930-1935 - shop front, 1955 - Guildford C.
