£4,000 stock in 3% reduced Bank annuities should be transferred by i) and £4,000 3% consolidated Bank annuities should be transferred by Jacob H Mountain into joint names of iv) in trust

memorandum that on 17 July 1865 said trustees sold £509..4s..7d 3% reduced annuities (proceeds (£455) and £450 was used to buy a commission in the army for Edward Brooke Thornton, eldest son of said Edward and Mary Jane.
On 16 February 1866 £120..3s..5d consols were sold (proceeds £105) and used to provide an outfit for said Edward Brooke Thornton on his posting to India.
January 1874 a like sum of £120..3s..5d consols was purchased with proceeds of sale of £122..19s..8d (part of said 3% reduced annuities) so amount of consols held on within written trusts was restored to said £4,000.
