    "I commend my soul …" to daughter Alice, wife of John Pratt, £10 in the hands of Clement Cooper of "Yellen" (?Yelden or Yelling) to grandson William Longland £22 at age 21 £8 in the hands of his master Humphrey Barnes of Keystone 1 year after end of apprenticeship also £20 in the hands of Richard Predden and Richard Cattley of Grafham; and 40s in the hands of Humphrey Woodferrye and George Ferryes to grandaughter Joan Longland £40 in the hands of Thomas Megus and Humphrey Barnes; and £65 in the hands of Edward Hills of Dillington on a mortgage the above money to be put out to best use, except for £4 to be paid to sister-in-law Joan Twigden while she has the keeping of Joan to sister Joan Twigden, rent of Townsend close (in occupation of John Dillingham) for 3 years; then to granddaughter Joan Longland monetary bequests to Christopher Fox's wife of Tillbrook, Thomas Fox and his children, godson Jeremy Freeman, John Bradshawe, Robert Raymont (son of Laurence), William Clement, gentleman (to be overseer of will), kinsman John Fox residue to Christopher Fox, executor witnesses: William Rugby, James Duckington, John Edwards, Gervase Jones
