    i ) Charles Pidgeon, Clifton, farmer ii ) Thomas Veasey, Baldock, Hertfordshire, Gentleman iii ) James Farrer, Clifton, ginger beer manufacturer iv) John Cooper, Clifton, gardener reciting conveyance of 218 September 1872 a) Samuel Wilson, Clifton, farmer b) said Charles Pidgeon - piece arable in Clifton (23 acres 3 rods 6 poles) conveyed to use of i) reciting also mortgage of 30 September 1872 1) Charles Pidgeon 2) Thomas Veasey to secure repayment of £1800 and interest i ) has agreed to sell to iii ) a portion of said piece of land for £735 and it has been agreen that whole of this sum should be paid to ii ) towards satisfaction of mortgage debt. Now in consideration of said £375 paid to ii ) by iii ) ii ) at request of i ) conveys to iii ) - piece of arable in Clifton (7 acres 2 rods 23 poles) being Southward portion of said peice of land containing 23 acres 3 rods 6 poles, the plot to North having been sold to James Cooper of Clifton, merchant's clerk, subject to duty of maintaining divisional fence - right of roadway and passage of 10ft width for iii ) and owners and occupiers of said piece if land along Westward end and side remainder of said peice of land containing 23 acres 3 rods 6 poles into public road from Clifton to Shefford of which part was sold to said James Cooper and remainder, being Northward end, to his brother, iv ) iv ) as purchaser of largest part, is entitled to the title deeds which he convenants to produce, if required signatures all endorsed reciept witnesses Edward Smith, clerk to Mr Veasey
