i) Simeon Warner, Putney, Surrey, esquire Isaac Warner, Mill Street, St Mary Magdalen, Bermondsey and now of Deptford, Kent, merchant ii) John Hughes, Berryhall, Solyhull, Warwickshire, gentleman iii) Edward Hughes, London, master and mariner (eldest son of John Hughes, late of St Mary Magdalen, Bermondsey, deceased) iv) John Maunsell Smith, Harley Street, St George, Hanover Square, esquire reciting bargain and sale of 17 December 1773 a) John Hughes senior b) Isaac Warner senior said Simeon Warner property (including hereinafter mentioned) was settled in trust which could be varied by deed made by a) or by his will reciting also bargain and sale of 9 April 1774 1) John Hughes senior 2) Simeon Warner Isaac Warner by which 1) made void the trusts concerning the said messuage and granted it to his sons 2) in trust for 1) for life, and then for sale. Money arising to be placed in public funds on various trusts reciting also the death of John Hughes senior, on 15 March 1775 now in consideration of £1,249..10s paid to i) by iv) at the request of ii) and iii) i) at request of ii) and iii) release to iv) - messuage or farm in Eaton Socon, late in occupation of John Sparrow - cottage in Eaton Socon late in occupation of Henry Fish - cottage in Acreman's Street, Eaton Socon late in occupation of William Gore - close pasture in Hondon, Eaton Socon in occupation of Henry Hall - close pasture in Overstaplo, Eaton Socon, late in occupation of John Topham (as in deed of lease and release of 26 and 27 June 1664) a) James Margets b) Elizabeth Whitaker, daughter of Jeremiah Whitaker c) William Whitaker John Good Ralph Gregg being the marriage settlement of a) and b) late in tenure of Edward Pridmore and now John Walter by lease of 17 March 1788 from i) for 7 years from 5 April last at rent of £40 for first year and £50 afterwards, and £5 per acre which is converted into tillage signatures i) to iii) endorsed receipt witnesses: Francis Gregg, S Harman, R Nowell, C Derby
