    i) Francis Green, Bedford, merchant ii) William Long, Bedford, esquire iii) Frederick William Foster, Wyke, Birstall, Yorkshire, esquire now in consideration of £780 paid by iii) to ii) i) at request of ii) release to iii) - pieces of common or open field land (32 acres 2 roods 12 perches) in Kempston --- in Boxend Field (7 acres 33 perches) --- in Ridgeway Field (8 acres 3 roods 14 perches) --- in Marchfield (13 acres 1 rood) --- in Postlow field (1 acre 3 roods 9 perches) --- in Box Meadow (1 acre 1 rood 36 perches) in Kempston and in tenure of Samuel Whitehand deeds etc. relate not only to above but also to other property of greater value of ii) so is agreed that deeds shall remain in custody of ii) now ii) covenants to produce deeds as in schedule, as required Schedule: deeds as quoted above [X732/96] signatures of i) and ii) endorsed: receipt witnesses: Theed Pearse of Bedford Jonathan [?John] Upton, clerk to Mr Pearse
