- close of arable land lying near Budnoe in the parish of Northill containing 1 1/2 acres commonly called St Ans grove heretofore parcel of the possessions of the Chantry of St Ann founded in Northill Church, and now reputed parcel of the demesne of the College of Northill and in the occupation of Christopher Bird gent, which long since was grated by King Edward VI to be held of the Honour of Ampthill by letters patent dated 6 March 3 Edw VI (1549) to William FittzWilliams Esq., abutting north on land now in tenure Richard Thomas, south on land late Mr Hardinges, east on land of Ralph Bromsall, west on a lane or way there.
