NW highway from Dunstable to Downs
SE once Edward Slough, and then -
and such other parts of such close as are copyhold
to secure repayment of £102 5s on 18 August following (being same sum as was mentioned in release of the previous 17 August)
1) John Holmes, Houghton Regis and wife Sarah
Elizabeth Crouch, of Dunstable, widow
(of which said Sarah and Elizabeth were the 2 surviving daughters of John Bissaker, Dunstable, innholder, and wife Hannah, deceased)

by which Elizabeth realeased all her interest in said close to John and Sarah Holmes

reciting also the death of John Buttfield in September 1821
by his will dated 8 February 1817, proved PCC on 22 November 1821, he devised all his property in Houghton Regis and Kensworth to wife Mary Buttfield for life and then to their five daughters, Sarah Hill, Mary Turner, Elizabeth Buttfield, Nancy Buttfield, and Amelia Brinklow as tenants in
common
reciting also the death of Mary Buttfield on 20 April 1850 without having admitted tenant to said close
reciting also the death of Sarah Hill (wife of Joseph Hill of Potsgrove) in January 1845 leaving her husband, Joseph and son William surviving her
