    A later, rougher version very similar to the Abstract of 1907 but with annotations and some additions. Items (1) to (13) are more or less the same as in Z1515/1/11/6/1 but are followed by: (13a)Mortgage dated 19 August 1887 Parties: (i) Alfred Day Batson of Liverpool Road in Luton, carpenter and joiner (ii) George Nott of Dovehouse Farm, Kennesbourne Green, Harpenden, Herts, farmer Operative part: (i) to borrow £600 from (ii) with interest at 5% per annum Property: (a) land with messuage, buidings yard, workshops etc being 10a Liverpool Road and in the occupation of (i) (b) the workroom and premises now in the course of erection on (a) and intended to be occupied by Stephen Sapwell (c) the two messuages known as 35 and 37 Collingdon Steet then in the occupation of William Day Batson and Thomas Prudden (13b) Transfer of mortgage dated 22 February 1897 Parties: (i) William Lisle Dalton of the Holt Kimpton near Welwyn in Herts, farmer and William Beaumont Nott of Flowers Farm, Redbourne in Herts, farmer (ii) A. D. Batson (iii) Elizabeth Nott of Dovehouse Farm, Kennesbourne Green, Harpenden, Herts, widow Reciting: - George Nott died 1 May 1896 and by his will appointed W. L. Dalton and Richard Avery executors - by a codicil to his will he revoked the appointment of Richard Avery and appointed W.B. Nott in his place - the £600 secured by (13a) is still owing but interest has been paid Operative part: (iii) to pay £600 to (i) to secure a transfer of the mortgage debt Property: as in (13a) (13c) Reconveyance dated 11 June 1898 Parties: (i) Elizabeth Nott of Carlton Road, Harpenden in Herts, widow (ii) A. D. Batson Reciting: (13a) and (13b) Operative part: (i) reconveyed to (ii) for £600 in repayment of the mortgage debt Property: (a) land with messuage, yard etc being 10a Liverpool Road and in the occupation of (ii) (b) the workroom and premises erected on (a) and in the occupation of Stephen Sapwell (c) two messuages known as 39 and 41 Collingdon Street (formerly 35 and 37) now in the occupation of Horace Mariner and Isaac Mariner (14) as in Z1515/1/11/6/1 Memorandum that Stephen Sapwell conveyed to Sidney George Parker of Collingdon Street part of the above premises on 29 September 1899, being a plot fo land adjoining on the NW 47 Collingdon Steet Memorandum that Stephen Sapwell conveyed to Albert Robinson of Liverpool Road part of the above premises on 20 June 1907, being the hereditaments fronting Liverpool Road and with a frontage of 14ft 6ins
