    Parties: (i) John William Rowe of Luton, dyer (ii) Henry Gates of Luton, grocer Operative Part: (i) to borrow from (ii) £230 with interest at £5 per cent per annum Property: (a) land in Collingdon Street in Luton extending on the NW side next to Collingdon Street with a frontage of 14ft 10inches and on the SE adjoining a wall belonging to Alfred Day Batson and dividing the piece of land from the said Alfred Day Batson (b) the tenement recently erected on (a) and now in the occupation of (i) (c) right of way or passage for (ii) and the occupiers to the premises by horses, carts and carriages and a further passage on foot out of Collingdon Street to the rear of the premises Habendum: Subject to equity of redemption Covenant: (i) to keep the property fully insured against loss or damage by fire for £230 at least (ii) to have power of sale Witnesses: - W. Neve of Luton, solicitor On reverse: Reconveyance dated 11 June 1891 between (i) Henry Gates (ii) Miss Catherine Higgins of Luton, spinster Reciting deed poll of 16 March 1881 charging John William Rowe with the further payment of £40 and another of 28 September 1883 conveying the equity of redemption to Catherine Higgins Catherine Higgins has now paid all principal moneys with interest to Henry Gates and the interest in the property has now been conveyed to her Witnessed: John Gates of Luton, solicitor
