    Parties: (i) Hertford, Luton and Dunstable Railway Company (ii) Thomas Jackson of Eltham Park, Kent and Alfred William Bean of Castle House, Shooter’s Hill, Kent Reciting: - (a) and (e) were conveyed to (i) by Thomas Sworder of Luton, gentleman, by an indenture dated 6 September 1861 - (b) were conveyed to (i) by Robert Marsh of Luton by an indenture dated 11 March 1862 - (c) and (d) were conveyed to (i) by Henry Tomson of Luton, corn merchant, by an indenture dated 12 August 1859 - these properties are not required for the purposes of the Hertford, Luton and Dunstable Railway Act 1858 and they are within the limits of the Town of Luton and are considered Building Ground under the Lands Clauses Consolidation Act 1845 Operative Part: (i) conveys (a-d) and the remainder of the lease on (e) to (ii) for £3000 Property (all in Luton): (a) land containing 5p bounded on the N by the land of Mr Robert How and on the S and E by a messuage and land of Mr Richard Glenister called the Fox Public House and on the W by (e) (b) land containing 2r 4p and 1 yard bounded on the N and NW by (c) and on the SE by land of Robert How and on the SW by (e) (c) land adjoining (b) on the NW and bounded on the NW west by the Hertford, Luton and Dunstable railway line and on the S and SE by (b) and on the SW by (e) and on the E and SE by land belonging to Robert How and the trustees of the Marquis of Bute (d) land bounded on the NW by the Town Moor of Luton and on the S and SE by the said railway line and on the N by land belonging to trustees of the Marquis of Bute and on the SW by land of the Luton Gas Company, subject to the terms and conditions of an agreement dated 23 January 1862 referring to the portion coloured green on the attached plan (e) leasehold land containing 1a 26p bounded on the NE by (b) and (c) and on the SW by the Dunstable Road and on the SE by property of Richard Glenister and (a) and on the NW by the aforesaid railway line Common Seal of (i) affixed by Thomas Erskine Austin for P.C.
