    i) William Martin the elder of Harlington Woodend, yeoman William Martin the younger of the same, schoolmaster, eldest son and heir apparent of William Martin senior ii) Francis Astry of St James, Westminster, D.D. Recitals Indentures of Lease and Release 1, 2 Jun 1736 by way of Mortgage in fee, to secure £300, from i) to ii) of: a) messuage or tenement in Harlington Woodend wherein William Martin the elder now dwells b) close and pightle of pasture adjoining to the same (3 acres) c) close of pasture ground with appurtenances lying and being in or near Harlington Woodend and called or known by the name of 'Bunts' otherwise 'Tibbs' (7 acres) which is now divided into three closes between the ground formerly of Sir James Astry, knight, and now of ii), both sides thereof abutting eastwards upon Westoning Field d) 2 acres of arable land in Westoning Field belonging to or enjoyed with a) All which are now in the occupation of William Martin senior Habendum: to ii) in fee subject to a proviso for repayment of £312 upon 2 June 1737 That (2nd recital) ii) has agreed with i) for the absolute purchase and for having an absolute and indefeasible estate in fee simple of and in a) - d) for the further sum of £45 Present deed Conveyance (grant, ratify and confirm) from i), in consideration of the (further) sum of £45 paid to William Martin senior by ii) and 5s paid to William Martin junior by ii), to ii) of, the already mortgaged a) - d) as detailed above; and release and quitclaim from i) to ii) of the said proviso or condition and all right, title, and power of redemption of a) - d) which they might claim by virtue of the recited mortgage deed Habendum: from 25 March ultimo to ii) in fee simple Covenant for further assurance(s) within 20 years Dorse: signed, sealed and delivered (and receipted) by William Martin senior in the presence of Henry Hatton and Ann Astry; and by William Martin junior in the presence of Samuel Smart (signed) and William Feild (made his mark)
