-- Deed of 24, 25 March 1788: Edward Snoxell to Thomas Mellor, which relates to St. Mary's Close, Dunstable, still belonging to Mellor; but also relates to:- a messuage called the Bull's Head, on the back part of Middle Row, abutting south on Hollywick Lane in South Street, west on land formerly Frances Ashton, widow, now Dunstable Charity; north on ground heretofore Thomas Foxen, now (blank), Crouch, tailor; east on ground formerly Margaret Assaby, ' now belonging to said messuage', heretofore occupance Thomas Horn, then John Green, now Hannah Arnold; which he has sold to Philip Cowley.
