    9 August 1869 Wilshere Estate Act which recited that William Wilshere late of Hitchin, Hertfordshire, esquire, published his will dated 26 March 1824 appointing executors and trustees to hold property upon trusts to use of nephew William Wilshere whom he had adopted (elder son of his brother Thomas Wilshere) for the life of the nephew, then to heirs male of nephew, in default to brother Thomas for life, then to nephew Thomas Wilshere second son of brother Thomas, and to heirs male of Thomas, in default to nephew Charles Willes third son of his brother Thomas and heirs male, in default to heirs female of his nephew William, in default daughters of nephew Thomas, in default to daughters of nephew Charles Willes and recited death of testator on 2 September 1824 and probate 11 November 1824, and that William Wilshere the first tenant for life attained age 25 on 28 July 1829, and on 5 June 1850 a deed of settlement of estate as in will, and reciting that William Wilshere the nephew never married; that Thomas Wilshere the testator's brother died 1 September 1832; and that Thomas Wilshere the nephew died on 13 September 1840 unmarried; that Charles Willes Wilshere married Elizabeth Marie his then present wife on 25 August 1840, by which marriage he had 4 daughters, that is Edith Elizabeth Marie Wilshere the eldest daughter born 27 July 1841 and 3 other daughters. reciting death William Wilshere the nephew 10 November 1867 a bachelor, the Act conferred power on trustees to raise money by sale to rebuild mansion etc, land to be sold including property at Biggleswade 29 September 1906 Death of Charles Willes Wilshere 17 November 1906 Deed of Edith Elizabeth Marie Wilshere to break entail 1 December 1919 i) E.E.M. Wilshere ii) Charles Edward Huckle, Biggleswade, Market Gardender CONVEYANCE by (i) to (ii) for £662 ... all that piece of land in Biggleswade contained 3 acres 1 rod coloured pink on plan with existing rights of cartway over and along the other occupation roads shown on the said plan in common with other purchasers of the Vendor's property.
