- Scope and ContentHave sent a few American Apples thinking you probably might like a sample. Would have sent more but the carriage would be expensive. I picked them out of a great quantity. Have also sent a dozen Spanish apples, as they are called here. Mrs Jackson's love and has sent you a piece of Dunlop cheese on purpose for toasting. My love to Humphrey and Robert - have sent them a cocoanut each. Love also to Rebecca and the bottle of oil of roses is for her hair. The snuff came from America which Catherine hopes you will like. I wrote Mrs Gibbs a long letter about two months since but I understand she did not get it. I shall return to Ampthill on Monday week. The two Catharines unite with me in love to all. "Aunt Jackson's Love to Master Benjamin Gibbs and has sent him a sable cap hearing he was a good Boy"
