    i) John Morris Ashforth of Sennowe Hall, Norfolk, esquire ii) Martha Morris Ashforth of the same, spinster iii) Robert William Henry Parks of Painswick, Gloucestershire, and wife Mary Ann iv) George Morris Ashworth of Market Overton, Rutland, Dr of Medicine v) Henry Thurnall of Royston, Hertfordshire, gentleman; Arthur Nash of the same, gentleman vi) Obadiah Worsley of Cobden Street, Luton, straw hat manufacturer Recites: will of John Morris late of Buntingford, Hertfordshire, gentleman (who was seized of land below mentioned) dated 16 April 1834 devised real estate to the Reverend William Young and William Hollick Nash during life of daughter Martha Sarah Ashforth wife of George Ashforth on trusts, and after her decease Pryor Farm at Stopsley near Luton to i) to grandson; if he die a minor without issue to go with residuary real estate which after death of Martha Sarah Ashforth was to go to use of her issue. Young and Hollick appointed executors Codicils 2 May and 18 December 1834 did not affect devise of real estate; he died 26 January 1835; will proved 16 March in PCC. Recites: Indenture dated 17 September 1856 [marriage settlement] between 1) Robert William Henry Parks of Painswick, Gloucestershire, 2) Mary Ann Ashforth, 3) Henry Thurnall of Royston, Hertfordshire, gentleman; Arthur Nash of the same, gentleman. Which recites that 2) was entitled under aforesaid will of her grandfather subject to life interest of her mother Martha Sarah Ashforth who was then living, to interest in estate devised by said will. Marriage intended between 1) and 2); 3) trustees of said will and to be trustees of said marriage settlement. Whereas: Martha Sarah Ashforth died 7 July 1864 leaving 4 children viz: John Morris Ashforth, Martha Morris Ashforth, Mary Annk Parkes (nee Ashforth) and George Morris Ashforth. And whereas: Robert William Henry Parkes and wife Mary Ann on 13 September last authorised trustees to concur in sale of Stopsley premises; parcel of arable below mentioned is not part of Pryors Farm aforesaid but part of Ramridge End Farm nr Stopsley Luton and consequently part of residuary real estate aforesaid. Now, in consideration of £74 i) - v) convey to vi) -piece of freehold arable in Stopsley Common, Luton 2r 30p :N road from Round Green to Old Bedford Road : W land of John Sambrook Crawley : E land of Mr Lines. Coloured blue on marginal plan and described as lot 3 in printed sale particulars.
