    1) Susan Rugeley of Potton, widow of Matthew (who was surviving brother and heir of William Rugeley; also executor of Thomas Houghton of St Ives, draper; the latter being son of Anne South - nee Rugeley - who married 1 T Houghton, 2 Anthony South); Matthew Rugeley was also brother and heir of Elizabeth Leeds nee Rugeley; and of Frances Want, nee Rugeley; all these five being devisees of Rowland Rugeley of Charleston. 2) Samuel Harris of London, merchant, Matthew Howard of London, banker - executors of Richard Harris. 3) Nathaniel Russell and A F Gregorie, both of Charleston, esqs. 4) William Havard of London, merchant; & Matthew Howard; recites:- 1773 Assignment by Henry & Rowland Rugeley of debts due in North America. 1774 Appointment by creditors of Henry & Rowland Rugeley as receivers (they remitted £5,470; & other part of what they got in they laid out in buying part of the lands, but the conveyance was made out to Rowland Rugeley, although for benefit of creditors; who had only received 5s in the £); 1776 Rowland Rugeley's will; half to brother Henry; other half to other brothers and sisters; 1790 Assignment by Henry Rugeley to creditors; 1796 Death of Henry Rugeley 1798 Death of William Rugeley 1805 Will of Mathew Rugeley 1806 Sale of Charleston estate for £15,000; Now Susan Rugeley releases to 3) property on Charleston Neck whereof Rowland Rugeley died seised (since which it has been divided into building lots and sold), and conveyed by Henry Rugeley in 1790; so that they can execute all acts necessary.
