    i) Colonel Edward Evelyn, Felbridge Water, Surrey, esquire ii) Richard Green, St Martin's in the Fields, Middlesex, goldsmith by letter of attorney of 17 May 1739, Sir John Evelyn, Jones Raymond and John Garth appointed Edward Evelyn to be and act as their lawful attorney to receive from Sir Roger Burgoyne of Sutton … all such sums of money as were due and should become due to them on account of interest on £8,000 lent by them to Sir Roger on a mortgage dated 15 July 1738 i) could appoint another in his place by letter of attorney of 23 June 1789 [?1739], i) appointed James Innes then of Tooks Court, gentleman as attorney now i) revokes said letter of attorney to James Innes and substitute ii) as his attorney in names of said Sir John Evelyn, Jones Raymond and John Garth signature of i) witnesses: Cave Radcliffe, John Evelyn
