    Parties: (i) Ursley Whitbreade of Eversholt, widow; (ii) Ambrose Whitbreade, son of (i), yeoman Reciting: - demise by Henrye Astrey of Harlington, esquire to John Whitbreade deceased of 10 October 1601 of property below making it leasehold for the term of 1,000 years at rent of 31/4 per annum to the Lord of the Manor of Eversholt of: a messuage in Eversholt wherein John Whitbreade dwelt; the orchard gardens and garden plot appertaining to the messuage together with: three closes and one toft adjoining; four acres of meadow of which 2 acres, 3 roods [sic] were in Church Meadow and three roods [sic] in Ford Meadow; 21 acres of arable; meadow called West Mead; all lands in Eversholt in occupation of John Whitbreade by virtue of grant made by George Bredyman esquire, deceased; - assignment of 15 April 1609 from John Whitbreade to Henry Goldsmith of all his estates; - R6/19/3/1; Operative Part: - (i) assigned (a)-(b) to (ii) for £110 Property: (a) 4 acres of meadow of which 2 acres, 3 roods [sic] were in Church Meadow and the other “three roods and half an acre” [sic] in Ford Meadow; (b) 21 acres of meadow Ambrose Whitbreade signed by mark Witnesses: - William Strong; - Thomas Symons; - Thomas Ball; - John Iremonger
