  • Scope and Content
Asks Rex about his time at school and enquires after auntie and her conservatory. Discusses briefly his time in France: 'Things here are very ordinary, plenty of work, no end of mud & little else but perhaps things will be livelier soon but just now it is very dull and as we are all busy no time for any football or anything.' Encourages Rex to make the best of things, as 'I hope & think that it won't be for very long as all points to a great improvement soon.'
