    Recites powers granted under the will of his wife, Jane Manson. - To Adelaide Manson, the widow of my late brother William Manson £500. - To niece Louisa Sarah Manson £500. - To niece Edith Manson £500. - To niece Amy Manson £500. - To niece Mary Louisa Jane Durant £500. - To sister in law Mrs Caroline Trapp £500. - To my cook Elizabeth Horton £300. - To my housemaid Sarah Sewell £25. - To my gardener John Harding £25 in addition to any wages due to them. - Forgives debts outstanding to wife or self from Mary Louisa Jane Durant and any legacy dues to be paid from his estate. - All household effects 'except all pictures in and about my house at Bedford known as The Plantation' to be equally divided between Louisa Sarah Manson and Edith Manson or the survivor, if both dead to Amy Manson if living. - All real estate and residue of personal estate as follows: 3/4 parts to the said Louisa Sarah Manson, Edith Manson and Amy Manson in equal shares. If none living then to Charles Gregory Emery and Mary Louisa Jane Durant in equal shares. 1/4 share to Charles Gregory Emery and Mary Louisa Jane Durant in equal shares, to be retained by the trustees converted to shares or stocks and paying a dividend to Mary Louisa Jane Durant and for the benefit of the wife or children if any of Charles Gregory Emery.
