Set of promissory notes signed by Charles Targett with promise to pay Edward Manson. Those dated 21 October 1879 are each for £50 and payable at 23 High Street, Bloomsbury in 12, 18 and 24 months respectively. However notes attached dated 23 October 1880 say the drawer has gone away from 23 High Street and no address or orders left. The forth note dated 9 Dec 1879 was for £25 and again is marked 'no funds provided or orders left'.
