Robert Browne, weaver, to William Cawne, weaver, and Alexander Tyrroll, labourer … a messuage in Well Street in parish of St Paul, Bedford, between the messuage of Thomas Hawkins, weaver, on West, and the Town Ground in occupation of Richard Crofte, tanner, on East, abutting North on Well Street (to hold to said William Cawne and Alexander Tyrroll for ever; to use of said Robert Browne and wife Joan and the longer liver of the two during natural lives; and after decease of said Robert Browne and wife, to use of their heirs male; and in default of such, to use of the right heirs of said Robert Browne for ever) [to be holden of the chief lord of the fee by the services and rents therefor due and accustomed] Witnesses: Richard Crofte, W Tyrroll and Richard Bowne ("script") [one seal broken]
