Received application from Lord Belfast for the Antrim regiment of Militia to be changed to Riflemen. Belfast will fund the alteration of dress and equipment. Grey expresses concern that riflemen are usually attached to brigades or divisions, and are difficult to train and equip. He wishes to consult the Duke, Horse Guards and Ordnance before approving the request.
