Letter to William Austin from J R Eve & Son. 'We do not at all agree with the conclusion and however little there may be at present in Mr Hart's Dye Works, there is quite sufficient for a very considerable ratability. We belive it to be perfect in its way as far as it goes and only additions will be made afterwards. There is no difficulty whatever in assessing the property as it is, but to do the Bleaching Works only is an impossibility.'
