Hoping to hear of their safe return from their north Devon Tour. Wrote to Lady Pelham. Letter from Draper. Cyder arrived , cases in good condition. Dr. Andrews [Provost of Dublin] expected in a few days. Starting fires in the evenings. Going to Madrid in three weeks. Beylie has hit his head badly in the night. Serious for Grantham as he is so well satisfied with him as a servant. Thinks he's alright.
