Good account of Therese. Mrs. Nesbitt is a wise woman, hope Therese not disappointed if her conjecture proves untrue. Nanny quite right to give John [Johnson?] leave to advertise his having served so long in the family. General Wall seen carrying a large party on an airing. Delightful man. Grantham may have horses and a low Phaeton instead of mules next year. Discusses Fritz's horse, and possibility of getting his own. The Plate arrived and is beautiful, they have a very good table. The Cook and Butler are as clean as possible, Beylie serves very quietly. House in Madrid progressing, will not get into it on leaving Aranjuez though. Unfortunate as the summer apartment is good. Sending plan of mansion at Aranjuez. The King returned from the annual shooting party 14 leagues off; wolves, foxes, wild cats. Showed Grantham a wolf; description. The King’s brother and two sons go with him. The Princess stays at Court in command.
