    … devises his house in Arlesey, and homestall and meadow ground in occupation of James Levitt, to use of nephew Charles Collison Hailey, in trust for brother William Hailey for life, and nieces (daughters of William Hailey) as long as they remain unmarried. And bequeaths to his nephews Thomas Arnold Collison Hailey of Great Wymondley (county Hertfordshire), farmer, and Charles Collison Hailey of Shefford, surgeon (trustees and executors of this Will), £300 in trust for investment and for brother William Hailey and nieces Isabella, Elizabeth, Georgiana, Catherine and Emily Hailey, and various other sums in trust for nephews Charles Francis and Henry Septimus Hailey, brother George Arnold Hailey and wife Elizabeth, and their daughters Mary, Eliza, Lucy, Frances Harrison and Ellen Grice Hailey. Bequeaths his leasehold interest in a farm at Highover, to all his nieces and nephews (Gives authority to complete purchase for £164, from James Watson's assignees, of:- a freehold dwellinghouse etc., and close in Walsworth in parish of Hitchin, then (1838) in occupation of Thomas Cannon and Richard Ballard) Witnesses: Thomas and Catherine Veasey (both of Baldock)
