Merry Christmas. Assume Mr. Parker arrived safely. Lord & Lady Middleton and Mr. Brodrick there, she is still pale but seems well, rides daily. Miss Brodrick couldn't come as her brother arrived from America. Charles Townshend came on Friday. Mr. Cleveland kept in Town on account of Lady Holdernesse. Tom's leave of absence expires at the end of January. Tom and Harry generally join the hunt near Stanmer. Still no news of horses. French Privateer made prize of three Colliers within sight of Brighthelmstone, she was taken the next day. Will be glad to see Commissioners; Lords Carlisle and Eden.
